DIY Capsule Challenge

My closet has been a struggle for a while now. Not like an “unorganized, things are overflowing everywhere” type of struggle, but more of an “I have 5 outfits that I wear every week” type of struggle. I’d like to say that that’s an exaggeration, but it really isn’t. I wear the same t-shirts and jeans back to back because it’s all I have. I mean, my clothes are decent, pretty basic; my closet has an “it is what it is” vibe.

Now, the average solution would be to just go out and buy some clothes. That only makes so much sense, right? Well I’m special, so I’ve decided to take it to another level!

So instead of just “buying” myself new clothes, I’m going to make them. Yup, that’s right, MAKE them. I mean, now is as perfect a time as any to try this out.

I’m naming this challenge the DIY CAPSULE CHALLENGE. The requirement of this challenge is to make a 10x10 wardrobe and the objective is to be able to diversify my closet and be able to make a few outfits from these items alone. I will be making everything by hand and designing it myself.

I’m honestly a little geeked about this DIY capsule challenge, but I also have some concerns. This ranges from the time I have to finish all the pieces, the level of difficulty between each of them and just designing for myself.

I’m not going to lie though, I am at a little loss of what to make for this challenge. If there’s something that you’d like to see made, let me know in the comments!
