AW 16/17 Trend: Fringe Benefits
I'm a simple person. Give me my basics with no extra fuss and I'm good. Yet, for some reason, I'm actually liking this fringe trend.
Ever since I can remember, I've hated fringe. Fringe jeans, cut fringe t-shirts, fringe leather jackets... You name it, I probably despised it. Fringe is so big and clunky that it always made an outfit look dated to me.
It wasn't until recently, that I saw the possibilities of fringe. Runways of the Fall 16 and Spring 17 season showed a lot of fringe and when I binge watched Project Runway during my maternity leave, one of the designers made Heidi Klum an ombre cobalt blue fringe gown and it just looked like happiness. The way it moved, it just seemed so freeing.
This made me want to dabble in the idea of fringe a bit. I wanted to find the minimal way to do fringe and I found it.
