I’m sure you hear it just as much as I do. How boundaries are important to have. How everyone can benefit from setting boundaries. How valuable having boundaries in place can be for your emotional, mental and physical well being. Yes, we’ve heard it, but what isn’t discussed is what we can do to become comfortable with setting boundaries in the first place. How do we know when a boundary needs to be put in place? How do we know what type of boundary news to put in place? How can we learn to carry out our boundaries with confidence?

"I Like It" by Cardi B.: Looks and an Illustration

Last week, Cardi B. dropped the video for her song, “I Like It” ft. J. Balvin and Bad Bunny from her debut album, Invasion of Privacy. With my first listen of the song, I enjoyed it. It was one of the songs I had on repeat after completing my first listen of the album. Love and I even discussed what she and the record label should do in order to make it a summer banger and that was to remix it by putting J.Lo or Pitbull on it. To be honest, that was Love’s suggestion, not mine, but I was here for the Pitbull mix more than the J.Lo’s. But now I have to admit J.Lo’s song “Dinero” ft. Cardi B. is nice too. Anyways, that’s not the route they took...at least not yet...and we received a colorful and warm video with Miami feels.

Fur Design Illustration

Inspired by the night and city lights and the fall 2018 trend of fur, fashion designer Delaya Briscoe designed and drew three designs of fur vests using copic markers for the illustration.

Spotlight: Nyané Lebajoa

Why do you like this person?

I honestly haven't been following Nyané for long. I probably came across her Instagram two months ago. What brought her to the forefront of my spotlight was the slayage she was serving up these past two weeks on Instagram.

Nyané is beautiful and has amazing photos on her feed in general, but there's been a few recent captures that have made me tingle. I mean, she has me mentally screaming, "Go ahead girl" and "You better work" as I double tap her pictures. The power, confidence and sexy she emulates made me instantly want to illustrate her.
